Arja is starting to run!

Just a quick post to say that Arja has started a running class... and I'm proud of her! Neither of us have been runners in the past.

It's an 8 week class, twice a week, plus "homework" running.

Keep it up babe! I'm proud of ya!

Running what is that? I hear running should only be done in hockey.

Well, good job. It is not for the faint at hard. I commend her.

Thanks for all your encouragement! I really do appreciate it!

I'm not sure if I'm cut out to be a runner, but we did 2.2 km last night and I'm still alive to talk about it, so I'm considering that as progress. ;)

I think if I'm actually able to run 5 km by the end of the class, which is the purpose, I will have to have a party, or at least do something nice for myself. :) Maybe some new running shoes...

Me and a friend of mine are running (ok maybe a little walking will be involved) a 1/2 marathon in September. I haven't been running much lately and need to get back into it. A class would help because then I would be more inclined to stick with it, rather than being lazy. I got the new running shoes, now I need to get running.

Way to go, Arja! Hope you have good weather for your outings. As a parent, you are teaching your girls that physical activity is important. I like that!

Jame, as for your face piercing, I don't have a comment. Remember, I am of the "older" generation, but I will still love you even if you pierce them all.

Love, Mom
