Okay... this is a little wacky... but I'm taking a vote here.
I've been thinking of getting another ear piercing for fun. I have one hoop in each lobe now. But I think I'd like one more somewhere else. Note - I'm not considering anything other than in the ear - so DON'T SUGGEST IT! :)
Using the image below for reference, post a comment on what you think would be cool for me!
I like the daith, the tragus, and the forward helix. But deciding could be tough! I think that whatever I end up with, I'll probably put a hoop with a ball on it, as shown in the diagram.
When you vote, please put your preferred ear. You can also comment on your reasons for your choice, if you'd like!
Thanks for participating!
*EDIT* Okay - if I'm really "taking a vote" here... my friend Lori is really pushing for the eyebrow. Anyone else with her on that one? (I'm not promising I'd do it... but let's throw it out there.)
Hmmm - anyone notice that my wife hasn't voted yet?
*EDIT* Now she's posted! Thanks Arja!

Hmmm... interesting posting. :)
I would probably suggest the "snug", on the left ear... you already wear 2 hoops, and a snug would add a little variety to it... no reason for picking the left ear... might as well do both. :)
This, of course, from someone who knows nothing about piercings!! :)
Cheers,
EYEBROW!!! EEEYYYEEEBBBRRROOOOWWW!!
you know you want to. all the cool kids have eyebrow rings.
go for the forward Helix!
Rich
Lori - from the days of goofing off at the back of Spiritual Formation & Discipleship class, to heading out west - you always were a bit of a rebel!
:)
I thought I said "don't suggest anything else!" Oh well, it least you didn't suggest anything else!
I can forgive you... after all, you've been after me to pierce my eyebrow for... what... at least 3 years!
:)
What about earlobe amputation ;-)
How's that for a "blast from the past"?
Oh I wondered if you would bring that one up, Dad!
For those that are wondering...
I started talking about an earring when I was about 16 or 17.
My dad said, "If you come home with an earring while you live in this house, I'll amputate your earrlobe!"
Ok - whether that was literal or not - I GOT THE POINT!
But being the boy I am.... I pierced my left ear a week after I moved away to college!
Ironically - I moved back home 6 months later! I took it out for awhile when I came in the house out of respect... but eventually, I think we both just got over it.
Now I have both ears done, and he recently told me, "I don't even notice them anymore."
We've come a long way, Dad! :)
I vote for ... the daith. I think it would look best and complement what you have now. As for which ear, I don't have a preference. What about the eyebrow???
the helix
originally when i read this i just thought ear rings are too painful.
Well the earlobes don't hurt at all. Just a pinch.
I've heard cartilage is a bit more painful, and takes longer to heal.
Supposedly the tragus feels like "getting punched in the head".
oh come on. you said "don't suggest anything else" because you knew i would anyways! HA. and i honestly think you are one of the few people in the world who could do the eyebrow ring look exceptionally well. i'm tellin ya man, you're missing out. life is better with more holes in your face. :)
Lori.... what is it that makes me one of the "few people" that could pull of the eyebrow ring well????
ok . . . so now that facial alterations are on the platter . . .
I'm with Lori. Go for the eyebrow.
Rich
Go forward helix Jamie! Looks less painful than the rest. Eyebrow would look ace on you too.
Do the helix if you must...ow.
I'm also going to have to go with the helix. You'll look so cute!
D
Looks like the helix and the eyebrow are the front runners.
We'll give it a couple more days before deciding.
But after all this.... I think I'll probably wait till the fall. I'll be spending lots of time in the kayak this summer, which brings with it bacteria-infested water. I'd rather not increase the chance of infection!
This is so hard....But I think I'm gonna go with the Daith. As Tammy said, I think it would go best with what you have now. If you're really undecided, get them all!
Well, I think my husband is very handsome as is, but if I had to vote, I would say...helix, forward helix, daith or tragus (not all of them - one!). How's that for a vote?!?! :) (Those that know me, know that I'm decision-impaired.)
Although I think eyebrow rings are cool (VERY cool, Lori!), I'm just not sure I would risk messing with the face.
Someone suggested that my vote should count for 10 votes...I think I like that suggestion! So, babe, now I've narrowed it down to 4 - pick one! :)
My wife thinks I'm "handsome."
My wife is okay with me getting another piercing.
My wife makes me chuckle with her "decision imparement."
I like my wife! She makes me smile!
I'm a lucky man to have a wife like her!
the roook hurts.. so go for helix..
i have my snug pierced
it looks amazing and it doesnt hurt all that bad
and i just got my anti tragus yesturday its dope but hurts to get done
there both deffinatly worth it
im going in a few weeks to my forward helix with my boyfriend =]
i have a snug on both ears.. i had a double forward helix before.. it got infected really really bad so i had to take it out.. they look awesome but they are hard to take care of.. what i like about the snug is its not too common. other then that i think the industrial is awesome and same with the tragus. or the antitragus. ohh or the rook
I have a few of them
Tragus, Eyebrow, Rook, Double Lobes. And have had 5 Helix's in my time (2 infected) , and tbh none hurt, mainly from freeze spray. Stretching the rook hurts (Dont try it!!) I know you dont have it on there, but i think the anti-tragus looks really nice. Im getting in a few weeks, once i have payed for my mate to get a matching belly button with mine. (I Get Bored In Piercing Shops, So i get joke piercings)
Rook or Daith. Both ears. Use a ring with a ball for either. You won't be disappointed.
i just got the forward helix today :) i like it. its simple and cute. either ear would be fine. mine is on my left ear though.
I would recommend the rook as that is wha i have done with a ring (with a ball) =]
As for preferred ear i dont think it matters unless ur hairstyle affects it, mine is on the right tho!
tragus!
I have both tragus and vertical tragus and a carilage and forward helix.
It idn hurt too badly and healing time takes about two weeks.
